Well a happy post today..fed up of watching the news,its making me angry....


On saturday it was carnival day on Lewis, we thought the kids would love it but they had other plans!! We told them to go and have a natter with each other and decide what they wanted to do...5 minutes later and 5 little bodies appear demanding to go to the park at ness and the beach...they didnt want to go to the carnival...so we headed here http://www.eoropiedunespark.co.uk/ again.....I can't rate it high enough and neither can our tribe....all these pictures make me smile,happy faces,working together,playing together,smiling together...:)

after several hours playing on the park we headed down to ness beach....

 I have to say though I wasn't impressed at the amount of rubbish, the way we went down to the beach meant crossing over a pebbly area to get to the and there was alot of broken glass (several smashed whisky bottles), there where campers nearby..don't know if they where to blame...one of my pet hates is litterbugs!!..aside from that the beach was nice but we didn't stay very long, everyone was hot and tired so we headed here for ice cream and drinks...http://www.eoropaidh.co.uk/  lovely,lovely tearoom...lots of yummy home-baking!!   

then back home...not for long though, just enough time to feed the tribe before heading round to the local beach,2 mins in car or walking I would say around 45mins with our tribe..beautiful beach..the tide was alot further out than we have seen it before..you could see the waterlines around bayble island which we had never noticed before....lots of sandcastles,rockpools and good old fashioned splashing in the water :0)
