Ah well today marks the beginning of the next chapter on our journey...moving to another house in town, which will be a trek for the school but in honesty we are fed up of paying a scandalous amount of money for a cold house...connor's eczema has flared up again which it always does when its cold!!
so off we go again for 3 weeks! then we will be moving into 'home'...the woman we are buying from is lovely...bumped into her in town yesterday and got chatting away like we had known each other years...the house has just been insulated last week to which is a bonus! Feeling fed up of all this moving around malarky as to be honest it still doesn't feel real that we are actually living up here permanently whilst we keep moving from holiday home to holiday home....all the bills are included in the next house and the heating system isn't flawed by a fuel glugging aga! this week has been another hectic week on the work front..another reason why we need to get into our home asap as we have so much stuff that we need our proper storage system back!!
the 'landlords' of this house have not spoken to us about us leaving as its 'not convenient' to talk to us till monday yet its convenient for them to talk to the caretakers to assess how much money we owe them for the oil we have already paid for...yes I sound like a moaning old woman but I dont care...I am truly peed off at how much we have given them already!!
I am hoping that the next 3 weeks will be warmer and less anxious! and in three weeks reality will hit that we actually live up here...miles away from everyone! still going by the motto 'you only live once' and we do love it up here ;0)
best get off my bum and finish packing!! keep smiling folks xxxx
